Main-peak area as a fraction of total integrated UV area. The figure printed on the vial.
Certificates of analysis.
Every lot we've shipped, assayed by independent laboratories, indexed by accession and lot number. The methods, thresholds, and glossary below describe exactly what gets measured before a vial leaves the bench.
Six measurements, one document.
Observed monoisotopic mass against theoretical from sequence. Confirms you have the molecule you ordered.
All UV-active species accounted for. Catches hidden impurities that co-elute outside the main window.
Trifluoroacetate counterion left from synthesis. Reported per-lot, not assumed from method.
Pyrogen load. Material-grade screen — not a sterility claim, since these are not sterile injectables.
Residual moisture in the lyophilised cake. Higher water means faster degradation in storage.
Every field on the page, defined.
- Accession
- The Pure Pep internal compound identifier (e.g. PP-002). Stable across lots.
- Lot
- Batch identifier in the form A-NNNN. One synthesis run, one CoA.
- Theoretical MW
- Average molecular weight calculated from the published amino-acid sequence and modifications.
- Observed MW
- Mean of three ESI-MS measurements on the prepared lot. Reported to two decimals.
- Retention time
- Main-peak retention on the HPLC column under the published gradient. Used for identity confirmation across runs.
- Counterion
- Salt form the peptide is isolated as — usually TFA, sometimes acetate. Affects net peptide content.
- Net peptide content
- Mass of peptide backbone per mg of lyophilised material, after subtracting water + counterion.
- CoA date
- Date the independent laboratory completed the final assay and signed the PDF.
Every CoA PDF is hashed with SHA-256 and the hash is signed by an offline Ed25519 key on the day of assay. The signature is embedded in the PDF metadata.

lot-A-4420.pdfCompare the output hash to the value printed in the CoA footer. A signature match confirms the document hasn't been edited since assay.
